Admin-linuX - Your system to Rescue!
Index of Admin-LinuX

Admin-linuX uses kernel 2.6.10 with the most common network, harddrive and CD/DVD drivers and to build a distribution with the required interfaces to manage network and shell script based tasks to automate the unattended installation and the cloning of Operation System Partitions. Admin-linuX will be booted from CD, PXE, USB, Memory Stick or Harddrive and installs itself with about 64MB in your RAM -Memory without any attempts to write to a drive.

Nevertheless, Windows like, all detected drives like IDE, EIDE, SCSI and USB will be mounted in /mnt/local. The most common network drivers are implemented too to enable network access on DHCP Request and configuration. There is a config file to connect to Network File System (NFS) or Samba (SMB) shares. The default user login is root to gain all rights without any limits. The Admin-linuX  system is about 32MB and contains 615 binaries, quite alike it's big brothers.

We believe to distribute a high valuable stable and basic linux system that contains every aspect to be a linux System administrator's basic emergency and rescue system. Furthermore it may be used in congestion with etherboot to process automated network tasks.
